+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ I wanted to take a moment to email you regarding the outstanding job that Victor Kong has been doing on our PeopleSoft project. When Victor joined the team, one of the things I asked him to do was to create a change control process so that I could know, at any point in time, what customizations had been done, what fixes were applied, and the status of upgrades. I wanted to know this per each database instance. I'm not sure if you have actually seen what Victor developed, but it is a process that has been tested and proven on numerous occasions. Victor not only developed this process, but he has been instrumental in proving its value and enforcing its use with the other team members as well. Victor holds a very key position on this team as my acting PeopleSoft administrator. In addition to applying the required fixes and patches, he has also installed several PeopleTools upgrades, PeopleSoft application rollups and bundles. Because of Victor's thoroughness, we have not had any major problems. In fact, he has fine-tuned his process with each upgrade and each instance promotion, so that I have no concerns or reservations when it is time to promote into production. Another thing I appreciate about Victor is his willingness to share his knowledge. Many times I see Victor with our network team members, sharing the knowledge he has gained during this project. Most recently, I sat in a meeting Victor had called with the PeopleTools upgrade team. I saw the respect the network team held for Victor, and heard their compliments regarding the upgrade promotion plan he developed. Victor
is also helping me in my interview process as I look for a suitable, experienced
PeopleSoft administrator. My hope is that I will be fortunate enough
to find individuals who have the same outstanding qualities and character that

would like to acknowledge Victor Kong for the very thorough and professional job
he did at Winn-Dixie Headquarters upgrading the PeopleSoft Financials
Application from version 7.52 to version 7.53. Victor’s role in this upgrade
was PeopleSoft Administrator in which he coordinated everything from initiating
completion of test plans to moving the upgrade to Production. He examined
compare reports, assisted with documentation, and worked with all team members
to ensure they knew how integral they were to this project which was the key to
its success. Victor’s strength lies in the fact that he motivates people to be
productive since he encourages them to do their very best. This motivation
combined with Vic’s technical knowledge allowed for a timely and successful
upgrade. I would highly recommend Victor Kong for any project and hope to work
